Eastleys Solicitors are a large well established firm of solicitors, employing over 100 people throughout five offices, based in South Devon. With a foreseen large increase in numbers of employees and the threat of Microsoft withdrawing support for the existing software, they, together with PCGL, devised a 5 year IT plan in 2002 which took into account the need for replacement and upgrade of the NT4 and Metaframe software. To ensure minimum downtime whilst this work was undertaken, installation of the new software, ie Windows 2000 server, Citrix Metaframe and Microsoft Office started on Friday pm at the close of play and was finished successfully by Sunday evening. As one of our most valued clients we were glad to be part of this successful operation and are pleased to be part of their continued IT expansion.
